MOBILE VR HEALING SPA connects therapists to patients to provide the latest in virtual reality and self-care. We hold the space to heal by delivering the ultimate mobile spa experience. If you believe you can heal yourself, we can help by tapping into the self-healing mind using VR as an altered state of consciousness.

INTRODUCTION

Concept, Brand, UI/UX Research & Design by Joe Jackson Creative as a solution to a UX design prompt. Provided with the following scenario, I designed a brand and accompanying mobile app to address the business goals. The wireframes and prototype I made using Figma, an online UI tool.

Scenario For Patients

Patients need a way to connect to alternitive health therapists in a more effective and efficient way. They need more than just access to safe conveniant healing space (physical and virtual). They also need to be able to easily book available qualified therapists to help them with relaxing and healing on a specific day at a specified location, using the latest in VR Healing Spa technology.

How Might We Statement

How might we connect therapists with patients to provide the most efficient and effective mobile VR healing spa experience.

Requirements

Three key problems and requirements based on the scenario:

  1. Create a mobile-friendly product to book alternitive health services

  2. Include choosing location and selecting the date for delivery of spa and services

  3. Allow users to book from a list of available alternitive health services

Solution

MOBILE VR HEALING SPA App

An App for booking the time and place for healing. By connecting therapists to patients providing the latest in virtual reality and self-care for the ultimate VR healing experience.

DISCOVER

Based off of several interviews from usibility testing, I learned that users need some assistance in choosing from the long list of possible healing modalities services available in order to get the most effective alternitive health treatment possible.

Minimum Viable Products (MVPs)

I developed a list of user stories and scenarios that would help determine the most critical features.

User Scenario

Feature Prioritization

I used the 2x2 matrix to prioritize features and conducted a task analysis.

I then ranked each feature based on how necessary the feature would be to the user to complete critical tasks within the platform. The features ranked as #1 became my MVPs. I would refer back to this list when developing key user flows.

Usability Testing

Objective:

Open app and book services as a patient.

Process

I conducted three rounds of moderated usability testing. Users participated voluntarily and fit the characteristics of the initial research participants: in need mobile spa services, age 30+, middle class.

Findings

For the most part, users successfully completed three tasks based on key user flows above. The overall feedback was that the app was nice and easy to navigate, straightforward, not too busy, and pretty simple.

As I moved forward into the design, I wanted to maintain these qualities of simplicity and ease of use in the user interface elements. Buttons, menus, and the form should provide positive and affirming visual feedback in order to teach the user how to navigate the app with ease, develop intuition, and gain trust.

Prototype

Objective: design the UX based off wireframes

Solution

The solution is to included an AI powered intake inform to help maximize your healing and relaxing time, as well as assistance in choosing from the long list of healing services in order to book your MOBILE VR HEALING SPA experience.

Scenario For Therapists

VR Therapists transform and streamline their healing powers by giving them and their patients access to virtual healing space, as well as access to our real-life mobile healing spa pods delivered to their location on the day of their choice. People need to take care of their mental health and need some guidance in choosing the mobile spa experience that best suits their individual needs, because self-care and mental health are more important than ever before.
